About Shimoga

Shimoga is a district head quarter, located at a distance of 270 kms from Bangalore and Mysore on the bank of famous river “Tunga” and is well connected by Rail and Road to all important cities and towns in the state. Shimoga has a moderate climate throughout the year and has easy access to the world famous “JOGFALLS”, Balehonnur, Sringeri, Horanadu, Kemmanagundi, Agumbe, Dharmasthala, Udupi, and the Tunga and Bhadra Dams.
