Admission Procedure




Duration of the Course as per State Education Policy

The College has introduced curriculum of State Education Policy (SEP) from the academic year 2024 – 25 as per the order of Government of Karnataka and Kuvempu University. The course structure and regulation are as per SEP.

The course of study for B. Com and B.B.A., degree shall extend over a period of three academic years, each academic year is comprised of two semesters and each semester is comprised of 16 weeks of class work, provided that the candidate completes his /her degree with in six years from the date of admission to the first semester of the B.Com / B.B.A degree course.


Dress Code

The students should wear College Uniform, Black Shoes, Black socks and Identity Card in the campus and should adhere to the rules and regulation of the college.


Procedure for Submission of Application:

1. A separate Application is to be submitted for B.Com., and B.B.A Programme.

2. Candidate should submit application in the UUCMS Portal (www.uucms.karnataka.gov.in)

3. In UUCMS Portal, the Candidate’s name should be entered as per Aadhaar Card (the name should be same as in SSLC Marks Card and Aadhaar card, otherwise update your name in Aadhaar Card)

4. Mention parents Annual Income (Both High and Low) and upload in the UUCMS Portal Compulsorily.

5. At the time of admission the candidate and his / her parents should be present.

6. Fee must be paid only through online mode.



Documents to be enclosed at the time of submitting duly filled Application Form

1. Duly filled Application Form

2. Xerox copy of Original SSLC and PUC marks card

3. Recent Caste and Income Certificate

4. Passport Size Photo is to be affixed in the box provided

5. Certificate if studied in Kannada Medium from 1st to 10th Standard

6. Aadhaar Card Xerox copy



Original Documents to be produced at the time of Admission

1. Original Marks Card or Provisional Marks card duly signed by the Head of the Institution

2. T. C Original (Compulsory) + one Xerox copy

3. Caste Certificate : SC/ST and all category (one Xerox copy)

4. Income Certificate for Cat- I, II-A, II-B, III-A and III-B is to be submitted if parents income is below Rs 1 lakh to avail fee concession and for SC/ST Candidate it is below Rs. 2.5 Lakh (One Xerox Copy )

5. Candidate of higher income also should produce Income Certificate (One Xerox Copy)

6. Passport size Photo 05 copies and stamp size photo 05 copies.

7. Undertaking – 2 copies

8. Form – I. D. Card Format.

9. Aadhaar card Xerox copy

10. Bank Pass book Xerox copy





Rules and Regulations

1. Admission of candidates is made by considering the marks obtained at the Pre-University examination.

2. Students should abide by the rules and regulations in force framed from time to time by the college authorities.

3. Students will not be admitted to the college again to the succeeding years / semester unless their attendance, progress and conduct are satisfactory.

4. Reservation of seats will be made in accordance with the Government rules in force. Students should submit caste / Income certificate issued by the revenue authorities.

5. At the time of admission. Original Marks Card and Transfer Certificate of Pre-University, Caste / Income certificate should be submitted.

6. Sports Quota: each class will have a seat reserved for the sportsmen.

7. Students of the other colleges seeking admission to second and third year of the course should obtain prior permission from the Registrar, Kuvempu University, Shankaraghatta.

8. Students of other states, seeking admission to first year course should obtain eligibility certificate from the Registrar, Kuvempu University, Shankaraghatta.

9. Using Mobile Phone on the campus is strictly Prohibited.

10. If a student loses a library book, he/she must either arrange to replace the book within a month or pay double the price of the book.

11. Class tests will be conducted to assess the performance of the student for the purposes of internal assessment.

12. Students must read all the information put up on the notice board of the college.

13. Parents are required to meet the principal and the class mentor frequently to keep themselves in touch with the attendance and progress of their wards.

14. The working hours of the college will be 9.00 am to 5.00 pm
